This website is in memory of Marjaneh Moghimi, the founder and director of Butimar Productions, a Bay Area–based nonprofit art organization dedicated to making world-class documentary and feature films. Marjaneh produced numerous award-winning films for acclaimed international directors such as Bahman Kiarostami (Kamancheh, Infidels, and Pilgrimage), Michael Apted (Power of the Game), Justine Shapiro (Our Summer in Tehran), Mitra Farahani (Behjat Sadr, Fifi Howls from Happiness), and Babak Jalali (Radio Dreams, Fremont).
